Mixed Pickle Litteh is a classic Middle Eastern side dish eaten with khoresh (stew) or kebabs. Litteh is a fermented aubergine pickle that is mixed with some additional vegetables including cucumbers and spices which result in a tasty and aromatic pickle that is delicious on its own or taken with sandwiches, meat and chicken pies, fish and other savoury snacks and dishes. Marinated vegetable pickles are a favourite addition to many Balkan and Middle Eastern cuisines.
