The artwork was originally created by Falmouth University design students as part of a competition launched by Rick Stein to celebrate Cornwall’s coastline and seaside heritage. The vivid blue and white watercolour patterns add a fresh nautical feel to dining tables while complementing coastal, modern, and contemporary kitchen interiors.

The placemats are made from cork-backed laminated MDF, offering excellent protection against heat, scratches, spills, and everyday wear.
