The design of the Limbrey mills draws inspiration from the elegant forms of silverware crafted by Robert Welch in 1963. Commissioned by Heal’s to produce a line of table silver for their London store, Welch's creations were showcased in a dedicated exhibition at Heal’s in 1964. Items from the collection displayed at the exhibition were available for custom production by the Chipping Campden Workshop.
